How to use Google Classroom at Home
Google Classroom is a wonderful tool to increase the communication between home and school. We use Google Classroom in both Social Studies and Computers to complete and turn in assignments. By logging into Google Classroom at home, you can see your child’s corrected work, follow assignments and due dates, and access missed classwork if your child will be absent from school. It also allows me to communicate with my classes if I have to be out of the classroom for the day.
In order to log into Google Classroom from home, you will need to know your child’s school email address and password. The email address is:
(student #)@clioschools.net.
The password is something your child will create on the first day of class. They can share that with you, but not with me. If you do not know your child’s student #, please email me and I will send it to you [email protected].
To access Google Classroom:
- Go to www.classroom.google.com
- In the top right corner you should see an icon that says “Sign In”.
- Use your child’s school email address as the username, and the password they will share with you to log in.
- You will see all of the classes your child is enrolled in here at school.
It is also a good idea to monitor student email accounts throughout the year.
To access student email:
- Go to www.mail.google.com
- Sign in the same way as above
If you have any questions please contact me.
